    Philadelphia Science Festival: Community-wide celebration of science

    Ground for Hope- Philadelphia An interfaith religious-environmental education and training event will take place on April 10 and 11. Ground for Hope- Philadelphia will be two days filled with workshops, environmental justice and advocacy training, teachings on Eco-Preaching & Worship, tours of green job sites and facilities, and much more. The keynote address will be given by the Rev. Dr. Robert Edgar, former General Secretary of the National Council of Churches, and President & CEO of Common Cause. The culmination of the conference will be an Interfaith Seder for the Earth held at Mother Bethel AME, one of the first African American churches in the U.S. All are invited to come to all or part of Ground for Hope.     On March 2nd, the Sustaining Creation Task Force of NIM met to discuss past and future environmental activities.  We want to get this information out because a lot is happening in the next few months, including some actions needed in the next week.
